Stan Schatt

Stan Schatt has always been curious about almost everything. He is the author of over forty books, including the Frankie and Josh paranormal mystery trilogy, young adult novels including Egypt Rising and Jane Blond International Spy, and Minecraft novels for younger readers. His non-fiction includes books on career changing, computer technology, telecommunications, and politics. In addition he published Extraterrestrial First Contact: Past, Present and Future, a non-fiction book that explains the latest theories on how humans should try to communicate when a First Contact is made with extraterrestrials. He also has written books about writers including Michael Connelly, Daniel Silva, and Kurt Vonnegut.

Schatt’s fiction draws upon his very broad range of experience that covers several different fields. He has worked for medical, law enforcement, market research, and computer technology companies. In addition, Schatt spent many years in senior positions with leading global research companies where he was responsible for predicting future technology products and markets. His clients included many of the world’s leading technology companies.

Schatt has taught at several universities including Arizona State, the University of Southern California, the University of Houston, and DeVry Institute of Technology where he held the position of Chairman of the Telecommunications Management department. He holds a PhD in literature, an MBA, a Master’s degree in English, and an undergraduate degree in chemistry and was awarded a Fulbright Professorship to Tokyo University.
